I live in a 9mtr x 9mtr shed on my brothers farm. All decked out, beautiful and warm in winter and lovely and cool in summer!! I have my three dogs. One small cooker and an airfryer oven that does everything! I am 63, left my own house for my daughter to live in, she will never be able to afford a home, but she is safe. All my friends love to come here, it has a wonderful feeling inside. I have never been as happy as I am right now🥰

I have been captured by tiny homes for many years. I thought I was too old to aspire to a tiny home (I've recently turned 67), plus I am disabled. Not horrifically but I must use a cane to walk more than 40-50 feet. Watching this lovely lady has inspired me once more. If I am careful, I believe I could save $50,000-60,000 by my 70th birthday, which would be a decent down payment. Plus, unlike Laura, I was only married for 5-1/2 years in my 20's and LOVE being alone. Laura, you are an inspiration to older females everywhere! (Plus, you make lovely art.)

My mother is almost 80 years old and she downsize into a small home 6 years ago. She didn't marry by choice and never ever settle or lived with any partner. Still, the big home makes you feel lonely.
She was able to declutter most of the useless items, and she is now left with all of her memorabilia and her sentimental items which she looks and takes care of them on a daily basis.
Doesn't matter if you buy, resell, rent, smaller truly is better.
She started gardening on the little balcony and this week the flower start blooming. It took almost 3 years to grow, but she was soooooo happy.
Every moment counts, and you are able to notice wonder only if you slow down. Which you can do in a small place
I came to see tour her beautiful tiny home and ended up tearing up when she spoke so lovingly of her husband. What a deep and beautiful soul. Thank you for sharing her story. I've been thinking a lot about tiny living to increase the size of my life as I age and Laura's story is the most compelling and profound I have seen. She makes me think I am on the right track.

I agree with you, I've been living alone for years now. And I certainly don't feel alone. I chose to be alone. I do things I love to do. You don't know if you want a relationship or need a relationship until you've lived alone. I find I'm happier alone. The only thing I need is a Tiny home. Looking forward to it. Love your home.

I love all the artwork! My parents always encouraged us kids to have hobbies and as an adult I’m very grateful they did. I find having a hobby makes being alone enjoyable and prevents boredom

I wanted to downsize for over 6 years, would have had to move from GA to be in a tiny home community. Instead four months ago I purchased a 900 sg ft house on an acre of land. I’m so happy here and have started my garden; which have also been a dream of mine. I pray you find your telos

Lovely video…. Yes, I’m widowed 16 years, and you are right…my man is locked away in a sacred part of my heart, but I have made a good life for myself despite being alone. I am looking at small manufactured home currently, because land or someone who owns a parcel I can use isn’t available to me, but glad for you! Wishing you beautiful years ahead❤

I was 44 when my husband died. I am now nearly 82.
I have had a very varied life since he went to the Lord but now I live in a very small house. I have had to cut back to the essentials for life and I am blessed.
